Caelum* It is an independent space dedicated to contemporary jewelry. Created in March 2018, it stems from a field of training, production, and thought with 15 years of experience in the area, led by Cecilia Richard, visual artist, and jeweler. To consider the object - jewel as a territory that encompasses the world of ideas, that allows a space for poetry and finds a propitious place for signification in its use, is the spirit that challenges us from the beginning.
*The name refers to a faint constellation in the southern celestial hemisphere: Caelum, the burin or chisel, alluding to the tools of the sculptor, the jeweler, to "sculpt or carve the sky". Caelum, el buril o el cincel, aludiendo a herramientas del escultor, el orfebre, para “esculpir o labrar el cielo”.

Lograr una capacitación técnica integral en la disciplina.
Tomando como eje pedagógico la exploración técnica, formal y conceptual, facilitar una dinámica que permita indagar sobre el lenguaje plástico, su capacidad de significación, y posibilite el desarrollo del propio discurso.

El proyecto de la sala de exhibición tiene como objetivo promover acciones que permitan visibilizar la obra de joyeres contemporáneos locales como también invitados de otros contextos, con el fin último de contribuir a dar a conocer, difundir, promocionar la joyería contemporánea y alentar su circulación. Cuenta con curaduría general de su directora, y curadores eventuales invitados.
